You switch on your PC and it try's to
boot but hangs along the way.
This short guide is aimed at a proficient PC cover and board remover with a knowledge of
common types of
PC board, where they are located in the PC and how to remove them (without damaging
the board or the PC).
A general knowledge of electrical safety procedures is assumed.
NOTE: Remove the power to the
PC, connect before testing and disconnect again following testing.
Under no circumstances interfere with,
remove covers, or otherwise poke,
prod or probe inside the PC's power supply box. Lethal voltages are present!
