Wej have lowbank oceanfront property which is excelent for snorkling kayaking aswell as beachcoming. The clams are plentifull the crab is tasty harder to catch . The Island offers good cycling mountain biking and walking tours. There are over 50 artist galaries workshops open to the public every day aswell as two arts and crafts shows The Saturday Artist Market. The Island boasts to spectacular provincial parks Ruckle Provincial Park a Heritage working farm on 1500 acres of beautiful oceanfront. Mount Maxwell Provincial Park a Rocky outcrop that stands 2000 feet abouve the island and overlooks Vancouver Island.

From Vancouver's Tawassen Ferry Terminal to Longharbour on Salt Spring exit ferry 500 meters down road turn left onto Welbury Drive 1km turn left at Old Scott Road Look for signs. From Victoria's Swartz Bay Ferry Terminal to Fulford Harbour on Salt Spring Island follow yellow line in road 20k to town of Ganges look for sign for Long Harbour Ferry on right side turn right ontoi Upper Ganges rd turn right onto Longharbour rd 5k then turn right onto Welbury dr 1k then turn left at Old Scott rd.
