DESCRIPTION

The Great Eastern Hotel the first hotel within the City of London s Square Mile opened its doors on 28th February 2000. Designed by architects The Manser Practice with interior and graphic design by Conran Partners the Grade II listed Hotel has 267 bedrooms with four restaurants four bars and a gym. Though huge this is an individual hotel where no two bedrooms are the same reflecting the diversity of its heritage and structure. With its close proximity to the burgeoning arts scene of Hoxton and Shoreditch the Great Eastern Hotel is building its own art collection from artists and photographers working locally.Aurora is a showcase for European fine dining at it's best and its exclusive cocktail lounge is an oasis of calm. Fresh fish and fruits de mer are served in abundance in Fishmarket while the adjacent Champagne Bar serves an extensive list of wines and Champagnes by the glass. Unpretentious brasserie food is the order of the day in Terminus with graceful and healthy Japanese food available in Miyabi or traditional British food in George. Reservations are strongly recommended for all restaurants please contact the hotel for availability. Each of our rooms and suites is unique but all of them are light spacious and easy on the eye. All rooms have a high standard of luxury and comfort but there's nothing 'standard' about the attention to detail in any of them.No car parking facilities directly at the hotel however there is a range of NCP National Car Park car parks around the hotel.

LOCATION

The Great Eastern Hotel couldn t be easier to find. A former Victorian railway hotel we are placed adjacent to Liverpool Street Station the busiest terminus in London. With four tube lines and tens of bus routes feeding directly into the station and trains coming in from the East coast and Stansted airport no hotel in London is more accessible.
