The scenic south west coastal path takes you along rocky cliffs past lush hedgerows to hidden coves and further secluded golden sandy beaches including Towan beach where seals keep their own private cove. Portscatho village offers a 17th century pub three art galleries a restaurant post office and local store open from 7am to 7pm every day. The new chic Harbour Club has a long bar pool room and fantastic sea views. Other excellent restaurants are a 15 minute drive away. An off the beaten track retreat from a crazy world. A peaceful quiet setting that once visited you will wish to return to.
