Set within our own landscaped gardens the hotel provides a peaceful yet easily accessible location just off J20 of the M62. In August 2005 we completed a 5 million development to add a host of new facilities to the hotel.Our 81 bedrooms includes 30 brand new Superior Rooms which are furnished in golds creams and include a four piece bathroom with bath and seperate walk in shower. Our existing 51 bedrooms have all been refurbished to an exceptionally high standard with either a mulberry dark wood theme or a beige cream feel and all feature classic black white bathrooms with bath overhead power showers. Modern yet comfortable in design and feel our bedrooms are a joy to stay in. Whilst at the hotel residents can enjoy complimentary use of our new 'Vital' Leisure Health and Beauty Spa comprising 18m Indoor Pool Outdoor Hydro Pool Rock Sauna Bio Sauna Aroma Room Steam Room Ice Igloo Sensation Showers Techno Gym 6 Beauty Treatment Rooms and Relaxation Suite.From January 20006 our new Brasserie menu will offer dishes to suit all tastes and budgets. Choose from classics such as Lancashire Hotpot 12.50 or Game Pie 12.75 or opt for something from the Grill Selection like a Ribeye Steak 15.50 or Fresh Market Fish of the Day 14.25 . If you're feeling like a lighter dish we also offer a range of salads and pasta dishes both of which can be ordered as a starter or main course. On busy nights we do serve the Brasserie Menu in our smaller Bistro which is slightly raised and overlooks the Bar area. As part of the Macdonald Hotel Group we operate a 'Breakfast Brilliance Award' which the hotel has been awarded for many years. Leave the M62 at J20 towards Oldham A627M take the first slip road for Middleton Castleton A664. Turn right at the roundabout at the end of the dual carriageway get in the right hand lane turn right at the roundabout towards Castleton. The hotel is half a mile on the left just after the All in One Garden centre. |
