DESCRIPTION |
The Parkbury is a warm friendly hotel cinveniently located only a few minutes from Sandown's busy seafront promenade and leisure centre. Throughout the cretrally heated hotel extensive use has been made of wood panelling and marquetry recovered from the R.M.S. Aquitania last of the four funnel ocean liners. The ocean travel theme has been extended to many parts of the hotel through signage and memorabilia. The Isle of Wight has long been one of England's most popular holiday rsorts its fine weather and friendly atmosphere encourages many visitors to return year after year.

Coming off the ferry at Fishborne head towards Rye you will then see sign posts for Sandown which will take you round the outskirts of Rye. Once in Sandown head for the High street which leads onto Beachfield road at the top of the road you will see the leisure centre take a right and the hotel is about 500yards down on your left take the first enterance for the car park. |
