DESCRIPTION |
Pearse House is an attractive and imposing Victorian mansion set in its own grounds some thirty miles north east of central London and easily accessible via the M25 M11. The present building dates from the middle of the last century and its mock Elizabethan fa ade protects many fine examples of English craftsmanship amongst them some excellent examples of brass plasterwork and stained glass.

Directions Pearse House is only minutes away from Stansted Airport the M11 and from Bishop's Stortford train station. From the M11 NorthExit at J8 and head up the slip road to the roundabout and take the 5th exit immediately following services signposted A120 Bishops Stortford. At the next roundabout which comes up within 200 metres take the first exit left signposted A120 Bishop's Stortford . At the next mini roundabout 800 metres turn right into Parsonage Lane and Pearse House is the first entrance on the left directly opposite Birchwood School.
