DESCRIPTION |
The Griffin is a medieval Suffolk Inn offering real ales real food and accommodation in the pretty village of Yoxford. The Guest House was originally a 14th century coaching inn and offers a friendly atmosphere real ale real fires and medieval modern food.We are a small traditional inn with three en suite rooms. The bedrooms are comfortably furnished and have either a en suite bathroom or a private bathroom just for your use . They all have tea coffee making facilities alarm clock radio and colour T.V. including satellite channels.The Griffin is located in Yoxford one of the prettiest villages in North Suffolk and known locally as the garden of Suffolk . It's surrounded by the parkland of three country houses Cockfield Hall Rookery Park and Grove Park. The church is mainly 14th and 15th century with a western tower topped by a spire. The bird sanctuary at Minsmere is a short distance away and Southwold Framlingham Walberswick Dunwich Aldeburgh Saxmundham and Snape are also nearby.
