From Newton Abbot follow signs to Torquay A380 continue on to Torquay seafront and turn right. Follow signs to Paignton. Continue for approx 5 minutes and road forces a left turn into a one way system. Continue in left hand lane straight down under railway bridge Preston Beach following signs to Paignton sea front. Turn right after bridge following road. As you approach Paignton large green lawn area just past Redcliff Hotel on left as the road swings to the right known as Paignton Green you will see Paignton pier on your left. Ahead is a set of traffic lights The Park Hotel is also at this corner. At the lights Garfield Road is now on your right but is no entry from promenade. Continue through traffic lights and before reaching Apollo Cinema ahead on left on Paignton Green take next turning right Beach Road or the next one Kernou Road. Do not go past Apollo Cinema the large white building ahead of you at the traffic lights . Continue down either Beach or Kernou Road to end turn right one way system to top of Garfield Road opposite multi storey car park. Cherwood Hotel 5th building on the right around corner.
