Take M6 to Penrith then turn off onto the A66 toward Keswick. Pass the Keswick roundabout and continue on the A66 toward Cockermouth. Thornthwaite Village is on the left hand side approx three miles from the Keswick Roundabout. Follow the road up through the village and follow the sighns to the Thornthwaite Gallery. Thwaite Howe Hotel lies at the top of a small track just past the Thornthwaite Gallery |
