DESCRIPTION |
The Whitehall Country House Hotel is within 5 miles of Stansted Airport with excellent transport links with M11 and M25. Whitehall Country House Hotel and Restaurant is situated on a hill overlooking the North West Essex countryside in Church End Broxted and is set in beautiful tranquil grounds with manicured lawns and a charming Elizabethan walled garden. This Elizabethan Manor House has an award winning 15th Century timbered Restaurant which overlooks the gardens and the delightful terrace. The Kitchen at the Hotel was originally designed by Gary Rhodes in the early 1980's and the Head Chef and his team create the finest freshly prepared food using mostly local produce and the Restaurant has been awarded numerous AA Rosettes. Apart from the a la carte menu the Restaurant speciality is the six course Menu Surprise which offers delicate light tasting dishes providing a meal of subtle flavours and imaginative presentation. The Hotel has 26 individually decorated bedrooms most of which have either garden or countryside views or overlook the pretty village church next to the Hotel. All bedrooms are en suite and equipped with TV radio iron ironing board hospitality tray and hairdryer. The Hotel also has 3 Conference and Banqueting Rooms for accommodating up to 120 guests and is ideal for Conferences Weddings and Private Functions. Leave M11 at Junction 8. Follow signs to Stansted Airport. Before Terminal Building take last Exit on Coopers End Roundabout and follow signs for Elsenham.At T junction in Elsenham turn right onto B1051. Whitehall is 3 miles further on the B1051. Allow approximately 15 minutes from M11. |
