DESCRIPTION |
AA 5 Diamond thatched country cottage hotel in the heart of Thomas Hardy country approximately halfway between his birthplace and Max Gate where Hardy died. The restaurant and lounge have exposed beams and inglenook fireplaces while the bedrooms have modern facilities including colour televisions and DVD players direct dial telephones and en suite bathrooms with both bath and shower. The hotel's restaurant serves excellent food and reasonably priced wines in a relaxed and informal atmosphere.Yalbury Cottage is close to the World Hertiage Coastal walk and is surrounded by beautiful countyside. It is the ideal base for many attractions and places of interest. From 1 June to 30 September room only stays on Saturdays must be for a minimum of two nights or are subject to a Saturday supplement of 25 per person. Please check with the hotel as we can sometimes make exceptions depending on the pattern of bookings on the Friday night.

LOCATION |
From London take take the M3 then the M27 then the A31 and then the A35 to Dorchester. Turn Left at Cuckoo Lane Junction to Higher and Lower Bockhampton. After approximately 1 mile you will come to a crossroads go straight across and Yalbury Cottage is 400 meters on left. |
