DESCRIPTION |
Cambridge House is a very high standard small friendly family owned guest house built in the traditional Lakeland style. Children must be 5 years and over.We take great pride in our warm friendly atmosphere and extra tasty home cooked breakfast which give our guests that 'home from home' feel. We have a large breakfast menu including of course a traditional english breakfast vegetarians catered for. Each room is comfortably and charmingly decorated all rooms have recently been refurbished and offer the essential comforts of home such as ensuite facilities colour television most rooms have video player and use of complimentary video library all rooms will have this facility by 2006 CD players use of complimentary CDs radio alarms hairdryer hospitality tray and complimentary toiletries. All prices inlcude en suite facilities and a hearty full English breakfast. We're just a minutes walk from all restaurants and shops in Windermere and only five minutes walk from the railway coach station. Also Lake Windermere is only a pleasant 15 minute stroll away. We have maps and books on many of the walks in the lake district which our guests are free to use at their leisure.Also guests staying two nights or more can enjoy free use of the nearby Leisure Facilities of Parklands Country Club. Smoking is strictly not allowed. Most credit cards accepted. Please note when booking the full name and postal address of the holder of the credit card being used is required before a booking can be confirmed. Take M6 junction 36 and the A590 and A591 to Windermere. At Windermere turn left signed Town Centre and follow the road through the town. Oak Street is a left turn off this road. Cambridge House is the first guest house on the left. |
