Marborough is a town steeped in history andsince the 15th Century an inn has stood on this site.Some of the surviving original oak timbers at the hotel pre date theSpanish Armada.The age of the building accounts for the individualnature of each of the 32 newly refurbished bedrooms and for thesplit level design of the restaurant but no compromise is made inproviding everything the guest of today requires.
