Welcome to Montemiliano a beautiful eighteenth century farmhouse that overlooks Monterchi mediaeval jewel of the Tiber Valley. The farmhouse surrounded by green fields and hills is located in a spectacular position on a Tuscan hill looking across to the Apennines of Umbria and The Marches. It has a splendid view of Monterchi the town which is home to Piero della Francesca s fresco of the Pregnant Madonna Madonna del Parto and of the mediaeval hilltop towns of Anghiari and Citerna.The Farmhouse seems like a small country hamlet from long ago. All of these have been completely restored having respect for the original architecture a large living area has been created from the former animal stalls and here guests are welcomed for breakfast.Guests have the possibility of staying in 2 3 or 4 bedded rooms B B service making use of a comfortable studio apartment for 2 4 people or of a spacious apartment fitted out with every comfort which can accommodate up to 6 people. All the rooms and apartments have a private bathroom and independent access.There is a fully equipped kitchen available for guests and a communal dining area.A rustic pergola with barbecue and a refreshing swimming pool complete the garden area of the farmhouse complex.There are many sports you can practise nearby tennis courts and a golf course are only a 5 minute drive away and in 15 minutes you can reach a beautiful lake where you can go fishing canoeing and even surf.

From Milano Bologna Cesena Superstrada toll free road E45 2nd exit Sansepolcro turn right direction Monterchi.From Roma Orte Superstrada toll free road E45 2nd exit Citt di Castello turn left direction Monterchi.From Firenze Florence A1 motorway exit Arezzo direction Sansepolcro Monterchi.When you reach Monterchi follow the signs for the Madonna del Parto then go past the museum and after about 400m second road on the right turn direction Borgacciano. After a short distance you will see a wooden sign for Montemiliano farmhouse. |
