DESCRIPTION |
The land that surrounds the ANTICO SPLENDORE since it is under the lee of the Dolomiti s national park proves to be an ideal place for eventful excursions in the middle of the savage nature. At a stone s throw from our place there is the Val Canzoi which also represents a natural approach to the national park. In this zone it is possible to observe how the woody vegetation transform from the beech into conifers like the larch and the red fir. The underwood s fauna includes predominantly the squirrel and the marten while in the woody bare patch prevail the deer and the roe deer.Getting to the Piani Interni its huge prairies are marked by typical shrubs of a karst habitat. The animal species which inhabit this zone are the chamois the kestrel and the fallow deer.
