The snow on these peaks is a dream come true ski runs for all skill levels even illuminated runs for night owls fresh snow for off piste skiing. From cross country to classic telemark to commemorate the birth of Italian skiing right here in Claviere where the first chairlift was opened in 1930 to contemporary snowboarding and free riding to alpine skiing horseback riding sled driving with Siberian huskies ski hang gliding heliskiing. And let s not forget that snow aside the possibilities for rest and recreation are infinite.The ski district extends from Clavi re to Sestriere to Monti della Luna up to Montgen vre. It offers 420 km. of ski runs 100 km of which are equipped with 950 snow guns on many slopes with different exposures plus an 18 km loop for cross country 91 ski lifts and 3 slopes for night skiing on Wednesdays. As for cross country and Nordic skiing there is a considerable range of options 18 kilometres around the hill that connect Clavi re to Monginevre then descend to Les Alberts and the fabulous Clar e district.

Claviere si trova in Piemonte ad 1 Km dal confine con la Francia sulla statale SS24 del Monginevro poco prima della stazione sciistica francese di Montgenevre. Per raggiungere Claviere IN AUTO si puo' scegliere tra l autostrada A 32 Torino Bardonecchia Frejus uscite al casello di Oulx proseguite fino a Cesana Torinese quindi prendete per Claviere. SS 24 del Monginevro. Seguitela da Torino per 94 km fino a Claviere.Per raggiungere Claviere IN TRENO una volta alla stazione di Torino prendere la linea ferroviaria Torino Bussoleno Bardonecchia 1 treno ogni ora e scendere alla stazione di Oulx. Davanti alla stazione ci sono le navette per Claviere.Se atterrate IN AEREO all aereoporto di Caselle To potete noleggiare un auto e proseguire per Torino in tangenziale e imboccare l autostrada A32 Torino Bardonecchia Frejus o la SS 24 del Monginevro.
