DESCRIPTION |
Constructed between 1946 and 1947 and acquired by the Barilla Poletto family in 1964 the hotel was immediately enlarged and various services were improved making it one of the symbolic landmark hotels of Abano. In 1992 an entire new wing was added with rooms rich in colors and comfort. After this the spa and the swimming pools were renovated. Through the years the Barillari Poletto family traditionally known for their friendliness and hospitality has proved themselves with their willingness to continuously improve. This attitude was rewarded in 2003 when the hotel received its fourth star. The hospitality world s identity is becoming more and more defined The hotel is no longer a place for anonymous tourists to go but rather a welcoming home away from home . Casa Venezia. Luciano Busato Hotel Terme Venezia Director Being born in a place such as Terme Euganee with its ancient dormant volcanoes and thermal vapors a place where the vocation of well being and hospitality has been practiced for centuries could not help but seal my fate.It was natural therefore being a son of the Springs to attendthe Hotel Management School of Abano Terme where I took my diploma in 1960.For almost 20 years I traveled the world facing many different tourist situations. With passion and sacrifice I got my field experience which was professionally and personally enriching and that allowed me to reach the summit of my career.My enthusiasm has never lessened my success has motivated me and my errors have made me stronger. I work with people but especially I work for people. I love this work because I must use head and heart in the same amounts. I have run this hotel for 22 years. I grew up along side it and it feels like home. Here the job I do feels like a calling.Luciano Busato.
