The hotel Villa Thomas is located on the western side of the Island Ischia.In the area known as Monterone of Forio. The Island of Ischia is famous for its natural thermal hot springs. We built the hotel on our thermal hot spring Tironi which is well known for its healing effects for arthritis and other ailments.The hotel is family owned and operated with a warm and friendly atmosphere. The building is 3 stories with a restaurant a bar and a sitting room with satellite TV. The building is equipped with an elevator. There is a pool which is filled with thermal water from the natural hot spring Tironi .There is a nice patio area surrounding the pool and a large roof top patio with lounge chairs and umbrellas. The reception area is equipped with a fax machine and internet access for use by the hotel guests at a reasonable rate.Marble staircases and hand painted ceramic tiled floors throughout give the hotel an Italian flair.The hotel is only a five minute walk from the center of the quaint town of Forio. It is a ten minute walk from the hotel to the nearest beach La Chiaia . There is a convenient minibus that runs every our to and from the hotel to Citara beach where the most well known attraction on the island The Poseidon Gardens are located. Villa Thomas has 34 guest rooms all of which have a full private bathroom.There are all two larger suites each of which has 2 bedrooms and a private bathroom.The hotel provides safes to store valuable items. The restaurant serves a variety of delicious italian and local cuisine. All meals are served in a sitroom envirement. Continental breakfast includes good american coffee juice cereals and a variety of breads. Dinner includes salad antipasta 2 courses and dessert.The pool is filled each day with fresh thermal water from the natural hot spring located under the hotel. The water temperature ranges from 90 to 100 . The thermal pool provides a wonderful combination of a swimming pool and a hot tub. The thermal pool is the perfect remedy for the weary traveller. The rooftop patio provides a beautiful panoramic view of Monte Epomeo the highest mountain on the island and the Mediterrean Sea. On e clear evening you can relax on the rooftop while taking in a spectacular sunset.

BY CARFrom ROMA A1 From BARI A16 From SALERNO A30 It is better to follow the road markings for the TANGENZIALE bypass exit No. 12 and to go on towards Pozzuoli. Then please go out at the Via CAMPANA exit No. 12 and go on towards the HARBOUR of POZZUOLI ONLY ferries which is about 4 km far away. You can also reach the harbour of NAPLES BEVERELLO both ferries and hydrofoils . You DON'T HAVE TO turn into the Tangenziale but to follow the road markings for the ZONA PORTUALE HARBOUR AREA and after the exit to go on for the harbour which is about 5 km far from the highway. BY TRAINThere are four available railway stations to reach one of the harbours of Naples NAPOLI CAMPI FLEGREI. From this station it is easy to reach the harbour of MERGELLINA by TAXI bus tram or underground. Mergellina is approximately 3 km far from the railway station.NAPOLI MERGELLINA. This station is more or less 200 m far from the harbour of MERGELLINA .NAPOLI CENTRALE or NAPOLI PIAZZA GARIBALDI. Both stations enable you to have an immediate access to Piazza Garibaldi which is around 4 km far from the harbour of NAPOLI BEVERELLO and easily reachable by TAXI tram or bus. BY AIRPLANEFrom the airport of NAPOLI CAPODICHINO it is possible to reach by taxi one of the two harbours of NAPLES in 20 30 minutes there is also a bus line ALIBUS dell'ANM which connects directly with the harbour of NAPOLI BEVERELLO. |
