The charm of an exceptional location il sorger del sole country house situated in grounds of over four acres of aged olive groves on a tranquil hillside with breathtaking panoramic views of distant medieval towns on hilltops Monte Conero and the Adriatic Sea. Il sorger del sole is a listed historic stone built house which retains many original features such as original oak beamed and handmade tiled ceilings internal stone walls and floors of stone and brick. It is furnished with a selection of paintings and antiques to complement the age of the house. Original thick stone walls and small windows keep the house refreshingly cool in summer and warm and cosy in winter. A perfect retreat for a relaxing break or holiday. Our generous 'slow breakfast' is served until 11.00am from 6.00am . It includes fresh fruit fruit juices yoghurts cereals bread pastries a selection of cheeses and meats toast and preserves and a choice of speciality teas coffee or hot chocolate. Guests have a choice of two beautiful individually designed rooms both with their own entrances on the ground floor of the house. The accommodation is very private quiet and exclusive. 'Sunflowers'. The double entrance doors are east facing and open out onto the sunny courtyard with beautiful panoramic views. There is an outside patio seating area an inside seating area with blue leather sofa and the room is furnished with mini bar teletext TV video CD hi fi hairdryer. Included in the room rate are a selection of complimentary toiletries tea coffee tray room temperature red wine and mini bar drinks re stocked daily with white wine beers fresh milk water and soft drinks . There is a delightful en suite shower room with beamed and tiled ceiling terracotta tiled floor walk in shower cubicle WC and marble topped vanity unit with mirror and lights. 'Roses'. This delightful room has a lovely antique feel with original stone walls with inset shelving with lights original oak beamed and tiled ceiling and tiled floor. It has a separate private shower room accessed through a covered walkway in the next room to the bedroom. This room has original stone walls original beamed and tiled ceiling and original stone floor with walk in shower WC and wash hand basin. Roses has double glass entrance doors with lovely views of the garden olive groves and the distant Medieval town of Macerata. We are situated 15 minutes drive from Macerata with bus and train connections. 40 minutes from Fabriano mainline train station.
