Come as guest leave as a friend Filippo and Rachel Fiorentini invite you to the San Fabiano country estate and open their farmhouse for splendid holidays in the heart of the Tuscan countryside.San Fabiano farmestate of the Count Fiorentini is located in the Arbia valley just 12 km south of Siena.San Fabiano castle was built by King Angioino in the XII century and the family church dates from 867 D.C. and is dedicated to San Fabiano one of the first Christian martyrs killed in the Coliseum. These ancient buildings are surrounded by 1800 acres of durum wheat fields sunflowers vineyards corn oak woods lakes and two streams the Arbia and the Biena.

From Rome Airport About 250 km.Some 3 hours drive. Head toward CIVITAVECCHIA continue to GROSSETO turn to Siena and after truning drive for about 50 km until you will see on your right a blu sign FONTAZZI. Climb the hill on top turn left and after 1 km turn right toward Monteroni d'Arbia and road SS.2 Cassia. After some 8 km you will get on the Cassia road turn left to Siena. Drive for 2 km inside the village of Monteroni d'Arbia. After a gas station turn right to ASCIANO and turn again after 300 meters to the left on a white road.After 100 meters you will Podernovo farmhouse at San Fabiano farmestate.From Rome city About 230 km two hours and half drive.Take A1 until Betolle Val di chiana exit.Than take the Siena 4 lane superstrada.Drive until Serre di Rapolano. Exit and cotinue until Asciano. After Asciano you will pass a narrow bridge and turn left. After 10 km you will enter our valley and in the end of a straight road you will see a sign saying San Fabiano. Turn right on a white road and the first farmhouse on your right is Podernovo farmhouse in San Fabiano farmestate. From Milan bout 400 km 4 hours drive. Take A1 until Florence Certosa. Than exit it and turn right on the Autopalio 4 lane road to Siena. Drive for 60 km and exit at SIENA SUD. Than exit it and turn left than after 200 meters turn right climb the hill until a traffic light turn right. You will be now on the Cassia road. Continue for 11 km and enter the village of Monteroni d'Arbia.After the Lo Sfizio Bar turn left to Asciano and after the bridge enter a white roadon your left and after 100 meter you will se on your right Podernovo farmhouse in San Fabiano farmestate. |
