Public transport By coach either from Grosseto Railway Station at 11.25 1 10 hrs a.m. and 4 20 hrs p.m. hrs for Sorano not on sundays .By train you can reach the railway Chiusi Chianciano from Rome or Florence in approximately one hour then a taxi will be available at Chiusi Chianciano railway station for transfer to Sorano. By car suggested routes From north Motorway A1 leave this at Firenze Certosa exit then take the raccordo motorway link for Siena and join there S.S. 2 the Cassia towards Rome and after 70 kilometres take the turning for Sorano. From south Motorway A1 take exit Orte then proceed through Viterbo Marta Valentano Pitigliano Sorano. |
