Nestling between the rich green of the Umbrian hills and the blue of the sky Le Vignole a beautiful old farmhouse is situated on a splendid natural terrace overlooking the Basilica of Saint Francis and the two fortresses of Assisi. It is a haven of peace bringing the visitor into close contact with nature. The mysticism of the holy city of Assisi and the warmth and hospitality of the old country farmhouse give the traveller once again a sense of a bygone age. Following the Franciscan path and wandering through the woods and sunflower fields it is easy to lose the pace of modern life and return to a sense of things long since gone. Mount about 3 5 km. From Sud. Autostrada del Sole highway A1. Exit Orte continue the highway road to Perugia.At S.S. 75 come out at Santa Maria degli Angeli direction Assisi.Before entering the Assisi at the Stop turn left to Perugia and immediately afterthat turn right passing Ponte San Vetturino.Follow the instructions to Le Vignole country house and mount for about 3 5 km.By trainTake Rome Florence Terontola Perugia and go to Assisi Santa Maria degli Angeli railway station.By planeS.Egidio airport at a distance of about 8 km from Assisi daily flights and charter flights. |
