In the middle of the beautiful umbrian valleys and hills and with an outstounding panoramic view Castel d'Arno is a completely restored burgh of the 13th century surrounded by an incredible rose olive and fruit trees garden. The restored castle is located in a strategic position near the region's most important artistic centres such as Perugia Assisi Gubbio Spoleto Todi and Spello. And new our brand new POOL starting summer 2007 After major restoration efforts today the building has nicely decorated and comfortable apartments all with a splendid view of the Umbrian valley. All of the apartments have private bathrooms kitchen bed sheets towels and heating. As well Castel d'Arno Rural Hospitality offers every guest the use of its complete laundry service. In the old stable which today serves as a rustic pub one can relax in front of an old fireplace while sampling the most exquisite Umbrian wine. Castel d'Arno is located just 12km from the historic center of Assisi and 10km from that of Perugia. Coming from the north on the A1 highway Take the Bettole Val di Chiana exit. Follow state highway E75 until you reach Perugia continue towards Cesena and take the exit to Valfabbrica. After about 6km turn towards Pianello and follow the signs to Castel d'Arno. Coming from the south on the A1 highway Take the Orte exit in the direction of Terni. After about 21km take the turnoff towards Perugia Cesena. After 80 km. in the direction of Cesena take the exit to Valfabbrica and after about 6km turn towards Pianello and follow the signs to Castel d'Arno. |
