Residenza Giotto is a small and welcoming building with only six bedrooms situated in a flat on the top floor of a 19th century palace with a lift in the heart of Historic Florence opposite the Cathedral and Giotto's Bell Tower. These views can be enjoyed from your bedroom windows and from the hotel terrace. Its proximity to the train station Santa Maria Novella the Exhibition Center of Fortezza da Basso and the Congress Palace as well as all the main monuments of Florence makes it ideal for both those on business and those who want to fully enjoy the historical and cultural atmosphere of the town. For a pleasant and relaxing stay in Florence you find at Residenza Giotto a friendly and welcoming atmosphere and an accomodation with all comforts. Our rooms elegantly furnished with genuine antiques and modern items are provided with private bathroom air conditioning telephone and minibar. We are at your disposal for any information for your going around Florence and when you come back you can relax enjoying the wonderful view from our terrace. The Reception is open from 9.00 am to 8.00 pm during the weekdays from 9.00 am to 1.00 pm and from 3.00 pm to 8.00 pm during the holidays. However we give Our Guests all the keys they need to be completely independent. If you wish to come to Florence by car we have estabilished a special agreement with a garage who applies special rates for our Guests. They come at the Residenza and pick up your car and they bring it back every time you need it without extra fees.

From the airport of Florence by taxi price 10 12 Euros by bus to Florence Train Station Santa Maria Novella From the Train Station Santa Maria Novella by taxi price 5 Euros on foot take Via Panzani and Via de Cerretani till Piazza del Duomo the Florence Cathedral then take on the right Via Roma five minutes on foot By car from motorway A1 E45 exit at Firenze Certosa follow directions to Florence City Center cross Galluzzo and go straight on. After about 1 5 Km at traffic lights turn right cross the second one and turn left at the third traffic lights follow the tree lined avenue up to Porta Romana Square. Cross the arch and go always straight on for about 1 Km cross the bridge and go straight on. After the traffic lights go straight on for about 200 mt then turn right cross the road and before driving in Duomo Square turn right in Via Roma. |
