When grandma Sestilia and Grandpa Pietro lived there the hamlet of SanBenedetto was farm along the banks of the Egola river.But now that Luciana and Sandro Masi have moved there from the city it hasbecome a little garden of Eden a real paradise for those who can never gettheir fill of fields flowers sunshine crickets and nightingales.The old cellars of the farm are now Casa Masi a trattoria where Luciana and Sandro present traditional home cooking using only fresh local ingredients varying according to the season. Worthy of this delicious cooking are the 150 top tuscan wines Sandro personally takes care of with great passion.Today the villa of San Benedetto the famer's home and the barns have beentransformed into guest houses divided into 15 comfortable apartments forwho wants a relaxing vacation.
