DESCRIPTION |
Caibaldi is a 15th century stone building originally a blockhouse located just outside the village of Pietralunga at the beginning of the Umbria Tiber valley. After restoration works carried out in full accord with the local building traditions both structural and aesthetic in summer 1999 we started a self catering rural accomodation enterprise. At Caibaldi we will therefore be pleased to welcome you in three comfortable apartments two to six bedded each with fully equipped kitchen and shower room.

Caibaldi situated at a height of 600m and surrounded by woods in a countryside of great natural interest is a wonderful starting point for walks and trekking even for non expert excursionists in the Central Italy Appennines and to the well known trails sentiero Italia and sentiero Europa With the E45 highway at 20 minutes driveCaibaldi is an excellent location also for visiting heritage towns such as Gubbio and Citt di Castello 20 km Perugia 40 km Assisi and Arezzo 50 km Cortona and Urbino 62 km . Resorts such as the Adriatic Coast are at 80 km and the Lake Trasimeno at 50 km. |
