DESCRIPTION |
Casa Bellavista is in Tuscany just on the border with Umbria. It is immersed in the green hills of Cortona a short way from important sites such as Arezzo Monterchi Sansepolcro Camaldoli Pienza Montepulciano Montalcino Siena and the magnificent Umbria. For those who wish for a break in their travels north or south it is an ideal stopping place only 6km from the Valdichiana exit of the A1 Autostrada. We offer three rooms with private bathroom the Pink Room the Green Room and the Blue Room. All are furnished as is the rest of the house with antiques from the 18th to 20th Centuries. The rooms and bathrooms are serviced daily with linen changed every three days. A buffet breakfast is served in our dining room with all the guests seated around a single table. Dinner can be arranged at Casa Bellavista with traditional Tuscan dishes. Upon request cooking courses are organised. Casa Bellavista is the ideal place for those visiting central Italy who wish to relax with a glass of good wine whilst admiring the rolling Tuscan hills.

PER CHI VIENE DALL AUTOSTRADA A1 Uscire al casello Valdichiana. Prendere la Superstrada in direzione Perugia uscire all uscita successiva FOIANO DELLA CHIANA CORTONA all uscita seguire indicazioni per FOIANO dopo mt.400 girare a destra in direzione FRATTA S.CATERINA dopo km.2 8 in prossimit di una casa diroccata girare a destra seguire la strada che sale per circa Km.1 al bivio girare a destra ATTENZIONE la strada si biforca nuovamente tenere la strada a sinistra proseguire per 600 metri e girare a destra comincer una strada sterrata CASA BELLAVISTA LA VEDETE DAVANTI A VOI.PER CHI VIENE DA CORTONA Dalle mure esterne dopo il piazzale del Mercato. girare a sinistra in direzione Arezzo. Sodo di fronte alla Porta S.Maria proseguire per la discesa per circa km.2 fino all incrocio proseguire per km.3 5 dritto in direzione S.CATERINA FRATTA al bivio seguire indicazioni CRETI proseguire per km 3 girare a destra seguendo sempre indicazioni CRETI dopo km. 6 circa al bivio girare a sinistra continuare per mt.800 al bivio girare a sinistra proseguire per 600 metri girare a destra comincer una strada sterrata CASA BELLAVISTA LA VEDETE DAVANTI A VOIFrom the Autostrada A1 Leave the Autostrada at the Valdichiana Exit. Turn onto the Superstrada in the direction of Perugia leaving at the following exit Foiano della Chiana Cortona . At the exit follow the sings for Foiano and after 400 m turn right following signs Fratta S.Caterina. After 2 8 km next to a ruined building on your right turn right. Follow this road uphill for 1 km at the crossroads turn right and at the crossroads immediately after the turn keep to the left hand road. Follow this for 600 m turn right onto a dirt road. Casa Bellavista is directly in front of you. COMING FROM CORTONAFrom the city walls after Piazzale del Mercato turn left flowing signs for Arezzo in front of Porta Santa Maria follow downhill for 2 km. At the crossroads go ahead for S.Caterina Fratta and go on for 3 km . At the next crossroads follow for Creti go on for 3 km and turn right following for Creti again. After 6 km turn left at the crossroads attention go slowly 800 m later turn left again and go on for 600 m. to another crossroads. Turn right here onto a dirt road Casa Bellavista is directly in front of you. |
