DESCRIPTION |
The Fattoria Montalbano lies in the district of Reggello between two small villages of San Donato in Fronzano and Donnini at only 28 Km from Florence and very close to all the most beautiful Tuscan art cities. Situated at a height of 400 metres on the slopes of the Pratomagno it dominates the valley of the Arno offering its visitor a view of rare beauty.The tenants Luciano Daniela and their daughters Elena Ginevra Gilda and Morgana too take care of the estate which has an extent of about 30 hectares since more than ten years. Three large vineyards from which the excellent Chianti D.O.C.G. the typical white and red table wine the Vin Santo and a very delicate grappa are made are surrounded by balzi terracing constructed by hand in ancient times and held firm by stone walls on which the olives whence a pure olive oil of great quality is extracted.This splendid countryside is the ideal place for those who love quiet and silence and want to rediscover rhythms flavours and odours lost in the frenzy of every day life.

Drive on the highway A1 Rome Florence until the exit Incisa where you drive out of the high way.After you have paid the toll turn right and drive the normal road direction Pontassieve and Firen ze. This road drives along the Arno river.After about 10 Km. at the end of the small village of S.Ellero on the left there is a restaurant and on the right there is a carpark here you turn right direction Donnini there is a sign . From the point you turn until Donnini you drive about 5 Km.In Donnini after the small square turn right direction S.Donato in Fronzano. Drive about 2 Km. until you see on the right the sign FATTORIA MONTALBANO . Turn right and after 500 mt.you are there |
