The hotel location on the lakeside is known to locals as the flowers' gulf and lies amid one of the nicest coves of the Iseo lake.Patriotic societies used to hold meetings at today's Araba Fenice hotel at the time of Italy's unification circa 1848 and closer to our times a secret meeting between Winston Churchill and Benito Mussolini is said to have taken place during the second world war.From 1997 to 2000 the hotel has been fully and carefully renovated and the complex is now restored to its old charming look although it has all modern trappings of comfort hotels.The main building on the lake front incorporates on the ground floor thereception a large hall a bar the lift and the conference room.The first and second floor accommodate 28 double rooms and 4 junior suites plus 2 double rooms one on each floor for the disabled.The restaurant Bella Iseo is situated on the ground floor of one of the buildings of the ARABA FENICE complex. The restaurant completes the services of the hotel. It is open also to the public and has a long tradition of refined customers.
