The Hotel Villa Liana is situated in an antique villa dating from the 19th century that used to house the British consulate in the years when Florence was the capitol of Italy. The hotel is placed in a tranquil street in the centre of Florence ten minutes walk from the Dome and 15 minutes from Fortezza da Basso Ponte Vecchio and Piazza della Signoria. From here various routes Irradiate that brings you to the most elegant areas of Florence. Close to here you will find the romantic gardens so estimated by the English and Americans. The Botanic gardens founded in 1545 is complete of full grown trees and vegetable spicies in the flowerbeds in this garden known as Il giardino dei Simplici . The Monastery of Saint Marco collects the most important works of Beato Angelico. Close by are also the Piazza SS. Annunziata famous renaissance square The archaeological museum the Hebrew synagogue and the Hebrew cemetery.
