DESCRIPTION |
As its name implies sits near the edge of Martinez Canyon 7400 ft above sea level with the magnificent views of Pagosa Peak and the Great Divide to the north. The beautiful valley of Pagosa to the south and the magical archaeological site of Chimney Rock to the west.Tall pine trees cover the glorious 35 acres of mountainous rocky terrain and one cannot imagine the thrill of watching a herd of Deer or Elk grazing in their natural habitat or to observe the soaring of Eagles above the canyon. Spectacular sunsets can be enjoyed whilst relaxing on the spacious decks.Accommodation comprises of individual suites each with its own private bathroom which includes tub shower wc vanity unit containing all the usual toiletries and walk in closet with robes and bathroom slippers.Rooms can be accessed from the private upper deck. all rooms have unsurpassed views of the surrounding mountains.Suites have a sitting area with sofa or armchairs TV some with VCR all have coffee tea making facilities.Guests have a large lounge with stone fireplace where during the winter months can enjoy the roaring log fire.There is a large hot tub to soak away the aches of winter sports or summer hiking whilst still enjoying the wonderful views Canyon Crest can serve evening meals with wine beer or spirits or just soft drinks to be enjoyed whilst sitting on the deck in the summer months or by the log fire in winter.Breakfast is included in the room price and can be taken in ones room deck in the dining room or dining deck weather permitting. All other meals can be arranged to suit.
