Mobile 3 star rated featured in over 20 guidebooks the Cottonwood Inn and Gallery has found a niche in its artistic presence in the community of Alamosa. Guests are surrounded by artwork and antiques served incredible scrumptious artfully prepared breakfasts on hand thrown dinnerware made by Colorado Artisans at Peacock Pottery and are sometimes joined for breakfast by local folk artists and artists from the area. Each room is individually decorated with artworks from individual local fine artists. The inn itself is a craftsman style home and an adjacent 1920's apartment building. The original home offers 5 rooms and 5 baths. The apartments offer 600 sq. feet of living space bathrooms with clawfoot tubs that are also converted to showers are great for families or individuals who need more space for living. They include t.v.'s with HBO and cable. All rooms have telephones. The inn offers a magnificent retreat for vacationers and business guests reunions and small meetings The grounds are landscaped with many edible herbs vegetables and flowers and much thought has been put into using as little water as possible in this semi arid environment. The newly renovated courtyard with English stepping stones and added hot tub are quite inviting.
