The Abbey Hotel is very fortunate to have Tintern Abbey right on our doorstep with many of our bedrooms overlooking the Abbey ruins. Following our total refurbishment our luxuriously appointed rooms also have satellite TV alarm clock and radio direct dial telephone internet access trouser press and tea coffee making facilities. For that extra special occasion we also offer 2 luxury bedrooms with king size beds and double spa baths for the ultimate self indulgent relaxation. The Abbey Brasserie s innovative Select Carvery is available from 12.00noon to 3.00pm seven days a week Alternatively you may prefer to enjoy a full dinner menu by candlelight in the Abbey Brasserie Restaurant. This is available from 7.00pm to last orders at 9.00pm. We also offer an individually priced Bar menu from 6.00pm to last orders at 9.00pm in our main bar.

From London the South or South WalesLeave the M48 at Junction 2 and follow the signs for Monmouth A466 or the Brown Tourist Attraction signs for Tintern Abbey. Go straight over High Beech roundabout to Chepstow Racecourse. Go straight over this roundabout with the racecourse on your right. Follow this road through the village of St Arvans for 4 miles. The Abbey Hotel is the first building on the left immediately opposite Tintern Abbey.From The NorthLeave M5 at junction 8 to join the M50 to Ross on Wye. Join A40 to Monmouth straight over the roundabout staying on the dual carriageway to the traffic lights. Turn left onto the A466 Chepstow Road. Follow this road for 12 miles through Redbrook straight over Bigsweir Bridge traffic lights through Llandogo and the village Tintern. The Abbey Hotel is the last building on the right immediately opposite Tintern Abbey. |
