Newcastle Emlyn is centrally located the heartland of west Wales right on the border of Carmarthenshire and Cardiganshire and is surrounded by unspoilt countryside gentle hills and rivers. The Teifi River which is quite a substantial river skirts the town passing the remains of the Castle and flows on to Cenarth Falls a beauty spot which is about 5 minutes drive by car.
